Description

These inflatable SUPs are long and narrow, which means they are lightning-quick through the water but also very easy to manoeuvre, control, glide and ride. Being inflatable they pack-down and can be easily transported to races all over the world. Despite its practicality, there's no compromise on performance.

NEW! Rail Foot Holds

Raised rails allow the rider to dig their feet into the board. This will give a grounded stance meaning more energy can be channelled into each paddle stroke.

All Elite boards feature unique innovations which can be found on Red Paddle Co boards: The patented Rocker Stiffening System or RSS for short, counters flex with two stiffening battens that are inserted into pockets on the side of the board; Forward Flex Control System (FFC) then stiffens the front section of the board using a carbon compression strut to remove flex that can be created in a race and channels this towards the back of the board increasing overall board speed.

The two combined work together to create the fastest inflatable SUP's currently available on the market. The board also features double nose fins to aid tracking and displacing water from the deck of the board. The glass fibre centre fin supplied as standard gives the right amount of grip without adding drag, whilst the angled design prevents any debris from getting stuck on the fin.

Multiple carry handles are included to provide fast entry and exit of the water and have been designed not to get in the way during racing. The diamond cut, Red embossed deck pad provides ultimate grip in control in all stages of a race.

The 28’’ wide Elite is the perfect entry board to racing or those over 110kgs/240lbs, also if the majority of your racing is done on the open ocean then the stability offered by the 28’’ Elite allows you to focus more on putting the power down than staying balanced.

RSS: Stiffening Up

Unique to Red Paddle Co, you won’t find our patented Rocker Stiffening System (RSS) on any other brand’s boards. RSS increases stiffness by up to 30% – which, combined with our super-solid MSL® construction at air pressures of 20psi+, makes Red inflatable paddleboards supremely rigid.

RSS battens are ultra-tough polycarbonate strips that slide into pockets in the rails as the board takes shape during early inflation. They reinforce the middle of the board, directly beneath where you stand. The system features on our Elite, Voyager and Sport ranges, plus 8'10" and 12'0" Compacts.

Essential to our high-performance ranges, RSS technology is particularly important for faster, more efficient paddling, heavier riders or choppier conditions, providing that hardboard feel. The battens are shaped for optimum stiffness and fit perfectly into their pockets, which are constructed separately before being laminated onto the boards.

Forward Flex Control (FFC)

Our patented Forward Flex Control (FFC) is a revolutionary system designed to make Red Paddle Co’s 12'6" and 14'0" Elites the stiffest inflatables on the market, ensuring a competitive edge. FFC works by preventing the nose of our iSUP raceboards from flexing, making the whole front half of the paddleboard virtually rigid.

When paired with our RSS battens on 20psi+ inflated boards, the results are seriously impressive. Reducing flex enhances power delivery and glide per stroke, boosting overall performance, efficiency and speed – most obvious during sprinting and other high-power phases or in choppier conditions, when Elites feel more like hardboards than iSUPs.

The FFC system consists of a two-part carbon rod that’s inserted into mounting points on the nose after fully inflating the board. The rod locks into an EVA deck-base in the standing area and is put under load with a tension lever. This stabilises the board’s front section, practically eliminating nose flex.

TITAN II: Less Time Pumping, More Time Paddling

As an inflatable paddleboard company, we’ve long realised how important it is to blow-up our boards as easily as possible. That’s why we developed the original Titan pump – it was a real game-changer, halving the time it took to pump up...

Since then, our commitment to constant innovation has seen us push the boundaries of inflation technology. That’s why we’re so confident that our reimagined Titan II is the best pump on the market. Quite simply, it puts air into your board faster and reaches a higher pressure with less effort.

The double-chamber Titan II has a bayonet fitting at both ends of the hose, attached directly to the airbox to reduce leaks and so it doesn’t thrash about in use. Folding feet and a removable quick-release handle reduce the size by 30% when you’re finished, making it more packable and portable.

Tec Air: Pioneering Paddle Board Design

Red Paddle Co is the only inflatable SUP brand that makes boards in its own private facility, using innovative materials and manufacturing methods to produce quality kit you won’t find elsewhere. The Tec Air process is how we refine and develop our boards.

We’ve taken standard inflatable technology and reworked almost every aspect of it. By pinpointing key areas, we’ve identified improvements – from the precise bonding of layers to the application of optimum rocker curve, triple-taped reinforced rails to our exclusive MSL® drop-stitch material, no element is overlooked.

Before going into production our designs undergo rigorous research and testing. (We’ve even run tractors and a 22.5-tonne digger over them – they were fine!) Then manufacturing each board takes 72 hours: that’s ten times the industry average. Unlike most other paddleboard companies, we never compromise on quality. It’s this unique Tec Air process that sets us apart.
